Playing chess is one thing that I have not done in my whole life. Not that I don’t want to but I simply failed to learn it. And I promise myself that I will…someday. A promise that until now still remains to be fulfilled.

The game is always played by my family – my hubby and my sons. I must say they very good at it and they really enjoy the game.

During the Sportsfest at LMA, I encouraged my son to join. He was hesitant at first but when he tried it with his close friends and he was winning in most times, he eventually developed confidence.

It was his first time to compete. And he won in three out of five tries. Well, it is not bad at all for a first-timer. Maybe next year he can already win a medal and can have a chance to compete in inter-school competitions.
